Lakeside Holiday Park Retains Gold 5 Star Status With New Score For 2025

We are delighted that Lakeside Park has once again secured its place among the UK’s top-rated holiday parks, retaining its prestigious 5 star status after receiving the Gold Award following a recent inspection by VisitEngland.

With an impressive overall score of 96% – a 1% increase on last year’s – Lakeside maintains its standard in excellence for holiday and touring parks across the country.

The latest recognition was awarded after a comprehensive assessment during an unannounced visit by the English tourist board, to evaluate holiday parks on quality, cleanliness, facilities and overall visitor experience.

The assessor remarked that Lakeside’s ‘team are to be congratulated on the overall presentation of this beautiful park. Their hard work and dedication ensure this tranquil park presents to an extremely high level throughout with excellent facilities and activities.’

At the heart of this year’s praise was Lakeside’s Park’s newest facility Toast Cafe and Supplies.

The impressive quality of finish and attention to detail particularly caught the attention of the assessor.
This contemporary and stylish addition has quickly become a favourite space where guests may enjoy breakfast, coffee, cakes and snacks. Its thoughtful design also features a designated dog-friendly area- demonstrating Lakeside’s continued commitment to being inclusive and family oriented, even for four-legged visitors!

This consistent standard of excellence is a direct result of the ongoing investment and improvement by Don Amott Parks, the family-run business with a reputation for high-quality leisure experiences.
Lakeside is the flagship park of the five luxury holiday parks in Lincolnshire owned and operated by the company, which ensure guests return to find new features, updated amenities and an ever-improving environment each season.

The Gold Award, which accompanies the 5-star rating is a strong endorsement of Lakeside’s position as one of the best holiday parks in the country.

The report highlighted there is ‘an excellent provision of facilities throughout the park with aspects for all guests and holiday home owners to enjoy’ , a ‘friendly, caring and established team’ and that Lakeside is ‘a stunning park, beautifully landscaped and maintained’.
